Moveable Alphabet
This moveable alphabet set is cut from 3 mm mdf. Vowels are painted blue and consonants are painted red. The set consists of 10 sets of vowels and 5 sets of consonants. The size of the letters are 2 cm x 2 cm (a, e, etc) or 2 x 4 cm (g, y, etc). The moveable alphabet is a brilliant Montessori tool which recognises that most children will be able to start spelling out words long before they have the fine motor skills to write them. These letters allow children to form their own words by manipulating the letters. This skill is thought to be the ideal bridge between learning to read and write. Capital letters are available on request. A sorting box for the individual letters is also available to purchase. These letters can be used in conjunction with a number of our other learning tools.
Transport & Delivery / Returns & Refunds
Delivery is FREE in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. At checkout you will be asked for your postal code and if you are close enough to Plett or Knysna you will qualify for free delivery.
We use Courier Guy to transport over the rest of South Africa. At checkout, please select your province and standard shipping costs will be added as selected.
At this time we do not ship internationally. However, exceptions can be made. Please feel free to contact us if you would like us to get a particular item to you overseas and we can work out transport fees for you, depending on your region.

We strive to provide the product as shown in our images, some items may vary slightly due to different types of material used and the hands-on nature of our business. There may be small variations in the items (for example different colours in the wood and natural imperfections in the timber). However, we do ensure that these variations do not affect the overall appearance and function of the item.
