GIANT Wooden Perpetual Calender
This GIANT Perpetual Calender is based on a Montessori educational aid - aimed at teaching children about the calender: years, months, days, seasons...and we've added the weather! The backing board is made from 6 mm plywood (340 x 490 mm) and has laser engraved details and small brass hooks that denote different areas for different "date" concepts.
Included in the set are a number of different discs and tabs to help little ones learn in an interactive way, as they change and add to the calender on a daily basis. These are all laser cut and engraved from 3 mm mdf board:
31 x Date discs (38 mm)
1 x perspex disc to denote "today"
7 x Day tabs (Monday - Sunday)
12 x Month tabs (January - December)
4 x Season discs (Winter / Summer / Autumn / Spring) (93 mm)
6 x Weather discs (93 mm)
10 x number tabs (to denote the year)
All the extra tabs and discs come packaged in a cute drawstring bag made of shweshwe fabric, so that the bits and pieces dont get lost during the year.
Transport & Delivery / Returns & Refunds
Delivery is FREE in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. At checkout you will be asked for your postal code and if you are close enough to Plett or Knysna you will qualify for free delivery.
We use Courier Guy to transport over the rest of South Africa. At checkout, please select your province and standard shipping costs will be added as selected.
At this time we do not ship internationally. However, exceptions can be made. Please feel free to contact us if you would like us to get a particular item to you overseas and we can work out transport fees for you, depending on your region.

All products are hand made by us. We strive to provide the product as shown in our images, some items may vary slightly due to different types of material used and the hands-on nature of our business. There may be small variations in the items (for example different colours in the wood and natural imperfections in the timber). However, we do ensure that these variations do not affect the overall appearance and function of the item.
