We carefully select each piece of material we use, making sure it is
the best quality possible.
For the wall decor products in our
online shop we use:

3 mm MDF
-
6 mm plywood
-
3 mm acrylic
(also known as perspex)

Our products are all finished by hand. MDF can be painted (either black or white, as a standard, but ask us if you want it another colour.
Plywood is varnished.
Perspex is suitable for external use,
mdf and plywood are aimed for
use in internal spaces.
MDF (Medium-density fibreboard)
is an engineered wood product
made by breaking down
hard- or soft-wood residuals into
wood fibres, combining it with
wax and resin, and forming it into panels by applying high
temperature and pressure.
Plywood is manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent
layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.
Acrylic, or perspex, is a thermoplastic often used in sheet form as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. We use both black and white in our products. Other colours are available on request.
